National Phenology Network

The National Phenology Network began its activities in 2010 in the states of Mexico, Michoacán, Campeche, and Quintana Roo. It grew significantly in 2013 through collaborative efforts with Alternare A.C. and the communities of the Monarch Butterfly Biosphere Reserve.

This initiative offers training to understand how plants and animals respond to potential climate changes and their effects on society.

The technical team includes Dr. Leticia Gómez Mendoza and Dr. Erika Rocío Reyes González, along with undergraduate students from UNAM’s Geography Department.
